0.05.00 - Better 'Sent to Jaiku' value helps intermingling work

Installation

1. Download the latest version from here.
2. Place it in your wp-content/plugins directory.
3. gunzip/untar it (tar -xzf JaikuPost-0.05.00.tgz)
4. Go to the Plugins menu in your admin panel and 'Activate' the Jaiku plugin.
5. You'll then have a submenu under Plugins called 'JaikuPost'. Enter your Jaiku username and API key there. Also choose if you want to send to Jaiku by default.
6. Next time you edit a story, you’ll see a 'Jaiku' box on the 'Write Post' page. I recommend dragging that towards the top of the widgets on the side there.
7. When you click 'Publish' it will now take a little longer to save as it has to run off and shorten the URL and post it to Jaiku.

Upgrading

1. Go to the Plugins menu and deactivate the old version
2. Delete the old file (called jaiku.php) or directory (called jaikupost)
3. Proceed as above. Setting will not be lost.

Advanced Features

• If you set a Custom Field called 'Location' then it will be sent to Jaiku along with your post.
• WP categories can have Jaiku icons associated with them. Go to Manage > Categories and edit a category. You will now see an icon selector. When you make a post in a category with an associated icon, your Jaiku will use that icon. If your post is in more than one category with an icon, a random icon will be used.
